What to Expect
Visiting a new church can feel a little overwhelming—whether it’s been a while or it’s your very first time. Know that you’ll be surrounded by people who love God and love you. Whether you’re exploring faith, looking for a fresh start, or searching for a church to call home, we hope that from the moment you enter the parking lot, you sense something different about this place. That difference is Jesus, and our goal is to help you take your next step toward Him!
Where do I park?
The most convenient parking is located off Second Street, behind our buildings. Additional parking is available on Main Street, which is free on Sundays. Our team will be there to greet you and guide you in.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! You’ll see everything from casual to dressy.
What happens in a service?
Each service is designed to help you connect with God and discover the truth of His Word. You’ll experience uplifting worship, meaningful prayer, a relevant message straight from Scripture, and opportunities to connect with others.
Our modern service features band-led musical worship, while the classic service features the First Sarasota choir and orchestra for musical worship. The sermon is the same for both services. We also have a Spanish campus that meets in our historic chapel.

What about my kids?
Your kids will love First Kids! Safe, fun, Christ-centered environments are available for preschoolers and children during each service. Our secure check-in makes it easy for you to worship while they enjoy engaging age-specific ministries.

Join us every Wednesday night at First Sarasota for an evening of connection, growth, and community! Whether you’re looking for a time of prayer, a place for your kids to grow, or an opportunity to engage with others, we have something for everyone.
